Starting your own business

In the wasteland that is dripping with unemployment, people are getting creative and thinking about starting their own businesses so they won’t have to trudge through the sea of employers who want to pay the bare minimum. If you’re one of those people then you know that it is quite difficult to grin and bear it when you can’t even make your rent off of a starting entry level salary. Some people may get lucky and find the job of their dreams that can also pay the bills plus leave you a little something extra to paint the town red with. Most of us though are going on an average of four months minimum without finding that job. This situation leaves us feeling that something must be done about the financial gap and the only way to get through it is to get creative.

If you’re a writer you’re well aware that the world could use freelancers because no one wants to pay salary when they can pay by article. You just have to learn to become the go get it type of person who knows how to be persistent and pay savvy. If you’re not much of a sales type, don’t worry too much about it since you probably know a few good people that need help with their businesses and could use a writer like yourself to start.
If you don’t have much of a portfolio then you know that you’re going to need to start one because a lot of businesses want to see some writing samples you have done for other companies

This is where it gets tricky and a little time consuming but it has to be done: you might have to start writing for free just to start. It might sound like a waste of time to write for free, but even though you may know how good you are, no one else does. You need to get yourself some notoriety and the way to do that is offer your services for free and then you might be able to charge for it. Let the business owner see that you are hard working and that they can trust your work because you’re going to give them a free trial.

Someone will be more likely to hire you if they have some samples to go off of. Personally, the most referrals I have ever received were by word of mouth and my other clients. Once you have a couple of clients going, they will tell their friends and you will have more work that you thought possible in one sitting.

Of course, now that you have a few clients, you need to make sure you have a schedule worked out with each of them and learned what you should charge hourly for each. Money will start rolling and you can set up your home office or possibly afford a small office that clients can walk into on occasion. It may seem like the world of the small business has ended, but boutique type businesses are popping up like daisies as if they were injured souls emerging from their sick beds. Small businesses are easier to work with and more geared toward your customers and they will feel that personal level comfort as soon as they start working with you. Good luck, and get creative to see the money rolling in.

Building Blocks Of Data

Back in the 1990’s, there was a movie that came out about how much computers have touched the lives of everyone on the planet. In the movie, a woman’s identity was changed, and given a new one, and the chaos that it caused was a big eye opener for everyone that saw the movie. The movie was not a big office hit, but it was seen by enough people to make these same people start to ask questions about the truth of it. Do computers really make that much of a difference when it comes to a person’s life? What was to happen if information was lost or stolen and replaced with someone else’s life? Data is important, it needs to be backed up regularly, and data deduplication can make enough space for more of it to be stored.

Replacing Blocks of Data Instead of Adding More

There are a lot of reasons to look into data deduplication, and a lot of valuable questions you need to ask an IT professional before you go ahead and do it. Here are some questions you should be asking about this special way to compress files called deduplication:

·         The definition of data deduplication:  There really is no true definition as to what this is except to say that it keeps from repeated data from taking up valuable space on your backup system.
·         The benefits of use:   The biggest reason to look into data deduplication is that it can really organized and stack data in such a way that is frees up as much valuable space as possible in your backup system. Another benefit of deduplication is that you can back up your whole system a lot faster than you can with any other kind of backup system like ones that uses tapes or disks.

·         A safe backup system:  Another popular question to ask is whether or not data deduplication is safe for any kind of backup system. Typically, any company that offers the deduplication service has a way to ensure that it is safe to use. The systems that run the deduplication are often checked to make sure everything is working just fine so no one’s data is corrupted or lost.

·         When deduplication takes place: When it comes to the deduplication, there are two ways that it can happen. Some people send the information to a company that does it, and then the information is backed up. However, there is a way to have it done at the same time that it is being backed up. Most people prefer to do it two steps because doing the deduplication at the same time as a backup can take a long time and end up slowing down the internet connection.

A movie from the 1990’s taught everyone about how much of the lives of people are tied into technology. However, the movie had some truth to it because data on a computer system has vital information about people like their financial records, social security information, and so much more. Data has to be backed up with a backup system, and data deduplication can take that information and make it a lot smaller, which means more important information can be kept safe.

Communication That Works For You

One of your business expenses is the equipment that you use to run your day to day operations. You have stuff like your computers, fax machines, printers, filing cabinets, and many more pieces of valuable and expensive equipment that you need to run your business. The phone system in your building is also a valuable part of how you do business, and SIP trunking can help you improve the way your phone system operates and also benefit your business in many different ways you may not realize.

Your Business Will Never Be The Same

You rely on communications in order to do things like place orders, ship orders, talk to customers, and other businesses that you are in contact with in order to make sales. You also use communication to be able to talk to your employees, and some of those employees may not work in your building. As the owner of your own business, you need to make sure that you have the best communications system possible in order to make things happen. Here is more information on what a unified communications system can offer your business:

·         A better way to get your messages:  There is nothing worse than playing phone tag with someone. You get a message that someone called, then try to return that message only to keep missing them and going around in circles. You can get your messages in a much better way thanks to a unified communications system. You will get your messages in your email, so you are sure to get it in a timely manner.

·         Organizing your messages: You may have a receptionist that takes messages, sometimes messages can get misplaced no matter how good of a receptionist you have. However, you can keep laost messages from happening, a unified communications system can help make sure that no matter what, you will always get your messages.

·         Voice mails accessible from anywhere:  As the business owner, sometimes you have things to do to that take you out of the office. However, just because you are out for the day this does not mean that you are cut off from getting your messages. You will be able to get your messages on any kind of device such as your phone, your computer, or your personal tablet. No matter how long you are gone, you can still remain in constant contact with your office thanks to a unified communications system.

·         Laptop phone calls: You can use your laptop in ways that you never thought possible like the ability to make phone calls. Though you have a cell phone, sometimes you need to have access to an important document, which just happens to be on your laptop. With a unified communications system, you can access what you need, and then dial in and make a phone call using software and your camera.

Your communications system serves you in many ways, but it is not the best communication system you can have. A communications unified communications system will take every single device that you use to communicate with like your fax, computer, laptop, phones, and combines them into one system.  There are many benefits to all of your communications working in unison, and your business will never be the same.

Learn C++ Step by Step for beginners < PART 1 >

Well this is the first series of tutorial I am going to make and I hope this will help our readers

Before we star you will need Code::Blocks a free C++ compiler

You can get it here - Click Here

After downloading you are ready to start this easy but successful tutorial for beginners...

1) When you start the downloaded application  go to File -> New -> Project

2) Then you will see the above image

3) Go to console application

4) Select C++ , then name the project whatever you want .

5) In the extreme left , Below the name of the program , you will see "Source" . Click on it

6)Then you will see -> main.cpp . Click on it

7) Then you will see the default program - " Hello World !"

#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int main()
{
    cout << "Hello world!" << endl;
    return 0;
}

8) If you have followed the steps , you will see the above code

9) Please do not panic , I will explain the code in my latter posts .

Thank you ............

Please comment .................

Learn C++ Step by Step for beginners < PART 2 >

This the 2nd part of the "Learn C++ Step by Step for beginners"

In this you will be learning about the various standard data types

This will provide a solid base for your future programming skills

Don't be upset that you are not learning "codes" & "commands" yet as these things are more important

Well there are 5 fundamental data types in C++

1) Character - char

These data types are used to store characters

2) Integer - int

These data types are used to store integers

3) Float - float

These data types are used to store decimal numbers

4) Double - double

These data types are used to hold very large numbers

5) Void - void

These data types hold nothing

Dont worry just know these things and I will explain what they actually are

Thank you

Learn C++ Step by Step for beginners < PART 3 >

In the previous tutorials you would have seen the below code , In this post I will help you understand this code

#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int main()
{
    cout << "Hello world!" << endl;
    return 0;
}

First I would like to tell you how C++ or any programming language works

If a computer is a worker and you its head , then the programming language is the instructions you give it .

At first computers could only understand instructions as 0 & 1 . Now the Compiler ( Code :: Blocks )
will convert codes in English to Machine code ( 0 & 1 ) for you

Now let be start explaining what each line in the code means

#include <iostream>

This line tells the compiler to include the file which has already be codded for you
This <iostream> lets you print lines you want

using namespace std;

This tells the compiler what and all files are needed to be included for the library files ( iostream )

int main ()

Well this is the start of the program , and the execution will begin from here

cout << "Hello World!";

This is the code which will print the required lines in the console ( "hello World !")
And this is why you need the include statement , as cout is a part of iostream

return 0;

This is where the program ends , if the compiler encounters this statement , even if there are more statements the program will stop

;

This is the semi-colon and depicts the end of a single statement

Well this concludes the 3rd part of the tutorial , and i hope you have understood everything

If you have any doubts please comment or use the Contact Me page

Thank you ..............
